July celebrates National Drive-Thru Day on July 24—a day meant to recognize the introduction of drive-thrus. Some say that banks were the original inventors of drive-thrus, while others say restaurants. Regardless of who started the trend and when, the reason drive-thrus work: the people behind them. According to our tellers, knowing our customers by name, and truly having a personal relationship with them are two key elements of being a successful teller. That and greeting them with a big smile and always taking time for the customer you are helping, no matter how long the line is behind them.
So today, we recognize our friendly tellers who work our drive-thrus, warmly greeting customers and assisting them with a smile. Thank you for making the drive-thru experience a good one for our customers and every day brighter for your coworkers. We appreciate you and all you do!
